About Negocio
Negocio is the country’s first Inter-university Sales Strategy Competition. It is the flagship business competition of Communic, IBA-Jahangirnagar University. Negocio aims to make the undergraduates of the country think critically about the strategy of a business and align the strategy with the selling function of that particular business to attract, persuade, and interact with customers. Efforts are made to make it as interactive as possible which will provide the participants with a first-hand experience of strategizing in terms of sales. Participants can exhibit and hone skills such as selling, planning, and creativity which will increase their business acumen.
Negocio Standing-out through Sales Strategy
Strategy is the long-term aim of an organization which gives it a direction to move forward and work as a guide in countering obstacles. A sales strategy provides a blueprint for the organization to achieve its sales target. The Strategic approach to sales will enable the business to adapt to any changes in technology, customer behavior, socio-economy, and other trends. Businesses require planning for the long term. This is a space where participants can showcase that thinking along with their sales skills.
Dabur Sanitize presents Negocio 1.0, the Nation’s first-ever online sales strategy-based competition consisting of 3 rounds. The competition structure was based on real-life business cases/plans, strategies, and campaigns. Furthermore, as a platform to enrich youngsters’ communication skills, a round was also designed with a presentation incorporating instantaneous curveballs during the solution time. This was a huge success for the club as a whole with huge reach and engagement from students from different universities along with adequate skilled guidance from industry leaders.
